About us
PORCHLIGHT is not your typical print lab.
Our unique space is tucked away quietly in a Westside neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown foot traffic and parking. This location, paired with our "by appointment only" lab, offers a one on one setting for each of our customers.
We're here to build personal relationships with the artists and photographers in our community.
Our aim is to offer you a high quality personal experience for that project that requires precise attention to color and detail.
We don't just understand printing, our background is rooted deep in photography. We understand the process of creating a memorable image from a photographers perspective. We also have 10 years of experience in fine art reproduction for those
artists out there looking to have their work photographed and reproduced.
Your project, is our project. We aren't happy, until you are happy. We want you to come back, even if it is just to say hello.

CHRIS OWEN
Lab Manager
Chris first started printing in the darkroom at Brooks Institute of Photography in 2003. Locals might recognize him from Samy's Camera where he worked in Digital Services and ultimately managed the Large Format Printing department.

Having worked 10 years at Samy's as a professional printer, Chris knows how to turn your image into a beautiful print. His background in photography allows him to fine tune your image and ultimately produce a product that you will be proud of.
